Description
Previous drawing experience encouraged, acrylic-based class. Art history cannot be told without witnessing portraiture in its many forms. This class explores different approaches to creating the human gaze, through collaborative exercises and alternative mark making approaches. We will look at different styles of portraiture, and especially at artists who challenge the status quo of the genre. The student will discover new ways to approach portraiture and construct a likeness. One session will include a drawing from a model. Instructor: Arthur Kwon Lee
