The Art of Assemblage: Using Design Thinking to Enhance Your Creative Process

This one-day workshop will be led by artist/educator Ruth Lozner, Professor Emerita of Art and Design, University of Maryland.
Where do artistic ideas come from? What is the process an artist uses to develop and implement a concept for a 3-dimensional assemblage? A hands-on workshop will guide you through experiencing the answer to those questions! Ruth Lozner will introduce the workshop project at a special lecture the evening before, on Friday, March 8 from 7-9pm. Workshop participants are encourage but not required to attend the lecture in conjunction with the workshop.
