Intermediate Drawing (ONLINE)
Classes will be held virtually through Zoom. In this course we explore different drawing exercises based on a variety of art historical movements from De Kooning, Francis Bacon, Seargent and beyond. Students are encouraged to draw with an experimental attitude and expand their understanding of graphite, charcoal and oil pastels. Elements of gesture, color theory, texture, perspective and proportion will all be explored in depth with new approached to drawing. Instructor: Arthur Kwon Lee
Classes will be held virtually through Zoom. Students must have their own Zoom account and be familiar with the platform. MPA will provide some basic instruction on how to use Zoom for the class but prior knowledge is highly encouraged. While instructors have recommended supply lists, we understand that at this time it is difficult to get all the recommended supplies. Modifications to supplies will be fine.
