Layered Paper Art - A New Art Form!
Beginners welcome! Learn a fun and exciting new art form with the artist who created it! Using hundreds of kinds of paper - gathered from all over the world - you will learn how to create beautifully textured scenes. Students will gain skills in cutting, ripping, and manipulating the papers as they glue them, in layers, to stretched canvas. Instructor: Ronni Jolles
Supplies will be provided by the instructor. A material fee of $60 is to be paid to the instructor on the first day of class.
Ronni Jolles has been on an artistic journey since childhood. Born in Rochester, New York, the child of a painter and a lawyer, Ronni’s art education began very early both inside and outside the home. After her family moved to Washington, D.C., she attended Sidwell Friends in Washington D.C. and graduated from Cornell University with a double major in Art and Psychology.
