Description
The illuminated letters are the initials that are purely decorative, and often work with the text to mark important passages or to enhance or comment on the meaning of the text. In this class you will learn the art of stylized letters which can be used on journal pages, cards, envelopes, invitations, recipe cards and anything that you can think of to make it personalized and special. Students will learn to design and paint their own Medieval Initials with Vines, Flourishes and many other elements of decoration. Please bring your own lunch.
