Delve into the world of comics by making your own books and looking at the work of professional comic book authors. We will learn what works both from a compositional and storytelling-perspective. Campers will explore some of the most famous heroes and villains in comic book history for inspiration. Beginning with pen and ink drawings for our storyboards, we will add sequential and close-up to complete our books. In addition to our classic comic books, we will also construct flip books to create the illusion of motion.

Campers should bring a snack, and water. If attending a full day, campers should also bring lunch. NO NUTS!
The safety of our campers, staff, and community is at the forefront of our minds as we redesign our in-studio camps in this new environment. Please review our Health and Safety Guidelines. Campers and guardians must follow these guidelines to participate in MPA in-studio camps.
