Description

Working in Yupo

This class may transfer online depending on the future social distancing guidelines of COVID-19. Yupo is a plastic paper that provides a challenging and fun surface on which to work with ink and watercolor. It is easier to work on Yupo in abstraction but it can also be used to paint more realistically. Students will enjoy experimenting with drawing and painting in whichever style they choose, and with either setups, models or their imaginations. This class is for continuing students. The safety of our students, staff, and community is at the forefront of our minds as MPA redesigns our in-studio classes in this new environment. Our plan includes:
  • Limiting class enrollment,
  • Requiring all participants and staff to wear properly fitted face masks at all times,
  • Implementing cleaning procedures and policies before and after classes,
  • Requiring participants to maintain social distancing in the studio, and,
  • Taking temperatures of all students prior to class.
Participants must follow these guidelines to participate in MPA in-studio classes.
  • Participants are required to wear a mask in the building at all times.
  • The Online Contact Form mentioned above must be submitted BEFORE the first day of class.
  • Do not come to class if you are feeling unwell for any reason.
