Color Theory (DUVAL) 
This class may transfer online depending on the future social distancing guidelines of COVID-19. This class will change the way you observe the world around you and approach your painting! Learn the properties of color (including hue, value and saturation) and how to mix and apply color effectively. We will build our knowledge of color usage from color wheels and concepts such as atmospheric perspective, exploring the surprising emotional and psychological aspects of color. Instructor: Naomi Chung 

7 lessons @ 2.5 hrs., $270/$250 MCC district residents

COVID Policies & Procedures:

The safety of our students, staff, and community is at the forefront of our minds as MPA redesigns our in-studio classes in this new environment. Our plan includes:

  • Limiting class enrollment
  • Requiring all partcipants and staff to wear properly fitted face masks at all times,
  • Implementing cleaning procedures and policies before and after classes,
  • Requiring participants to maintain social distancing in the studio, and,
  • Taking temperatures of all students prior to class.

Participants must follow these guidelines to participate in MPA in-studio classes.

  • Participants are required to wear a mask in the building at all times.
  • The Online Contact Form mentioned above must be submitted BEFORE the first day of class.
  • Do not come to class if you are feeling unwell for any reason.
